Tell me tales of sound and fury
For the truth of things your soul endured
Lives on deep inside your body
Do not stay silent even though
The thief arrives silently
Without warning
Catching you unawares
Never the less when he strikes
You feel the breath arrest
Inside you chest
Even if it takes some time
For the penny to drop
The powers that be would rather you remain
Silent
Unknowing
Immoblized
Then you are easier prey
And easier to control
But there is a truth your essence knows
And if you make of yourself
A blind person
Or a robot
The price you pay will be far too much
In time
For your soul and body to endure
And so it is you must sound it out
Make it known
No longer consent to let it slumber
And poison you
Mind and soul
From deep within
Twisting your mind and heart around
Leaving you swiling
In a fog of confusion that drains away
All sense of clairity
And inner knowing
The aftershock of the traumas we had endured, still, exerts, too strong an effect, even after years and years, since what happened had, happened.
