Beauty still lives here
Buried under a cover of darkness
As we move deeper into the forest
Of lost dreams
Sheltering under a canopy of trees
That opens to reveal this vast magnificence
Of celestial light
Here at peace
Within the deeply trod leaf strewn
Carpet
Of mother nature’s blessing
I find myself
Drifting into sleep
That brings my restless soul
Relief
From waking torment
And even here
Amidst the wild storm
I find the beauty of your ways
Dear soul
I will not turn away
Anymore
From this place of healing
Because truly
Wounding
Is our deepest blessing
Reminding us of the courage it
Takes
To stay fully awake
In the midst of dying
And to nourish hope
Even as darkness
Seems to eclipse
The rising of the solar light
For darkness
Sometimes
Will lie
Leading us to believe
The way to those mystical depths
Of dark beauty are lost
When most truly
They
Are not
For beauty is only
Taking time
To reveal itself
Hidden deep
Inside
The mystery!
A beautiful poem Deb … and the mysteries of beauty eminate from heart… and heart to heart they sail their own charts … ππππ
