This video is powerful and it seemed to strike such a deep chord with so many viewers online judging from the comments.. I have addressed this issue of the truth telling child in other posts of mine but Dr Ramani clearly explains it in a lot more depth. She touches on why narcissists so often do not want empathic people near them and will try to exile them.. But seeing deeply is a strength and one that may, in time, help us to escape from toxic family systems with our sanity in tact.
