A moving film about the destructive effects of so called conversion or reparative therapy used on Christian people who identified as gay from 1976.. Thank fully there is a growing understanding that people have the right to their own unique form of sexual expression. The consequences of trying to turn someone against one’s natural inclinations (and seeing them as, in some way, ‘sinful’) are clearly portrayed in many of the stories of survivors told in this new documentary now screening on Netflix.
