If I do not forgive you
Who will be the wiser one?
God knows this world so often is so
Shut down
Unkind
When we leave behind or ignore
The true inner state
Of another human being’s heart and soul
If I cry then I am in the wound
But maybe I am coming awake
So please do not tell me
To get over it
Or that I am
Full of self pity
Sometimes for us sensitives
Our hearts break
Over things the calcified
Find unmoving
So we must treasure the pain
If only for a while
The truth is
This human world is not always kind
And even in nature there comes a day
When someone dies
To feed another mouth
And yet in living what is life really all about
Does it lie in opening our hearts a little wider?
Does it lie in seeing where the calcifications are?
Does it rest in allowing them to be as they are?
Even as we know
With every fiber of our soul
There is another way
There is a kinder way
There is a softer way
I can sense the deep, raw emotion here. Thank you for sharing.
