Unfold

I love you

I always have

it is just that this love

so long ago fell into

a deep ocean of forgetting

when you lost your way to ‘Home’.

Somewhere along the path

they convinced you that you lacked something

In failing to remind you

of both your strengths and weaknesses

they severed you from your True Self

and if you were shamed

for fighting to break free

how much harder may it be

to fully see and love and accept your real self?

Do not give up hope

there is love here.

There is a tenderness that can hold you

even as the pain ever so slowly

unfolds

the blossoming seed

that gives rise to your soul,

the deepest core of your essence

that is one with

and so often felt,

set apart, from

God
