cling to you

I cannot cling to you for hope

if I am drowning I must go down

letting the waves roll me around

letting myself lose all of my sense

of forward direction

and yes, even meaning

I know how this desperation feels

please believe me

i know how it feels for you to

long so deeply

for someone to save you

the truth is we are here

caring and cheering you on

but the rising that needs to happen

after the shattering and the fall

it will take all you have

I do not know if you are strong enough

but deep in my heart

I pray you will be held

all through

this painful time

in the arms of the angels.

I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.
