Good things can happen. I love listening to Louise Hay lately and she always reminds me about the attitude I take to my day and to remind myself of waking up to the possibilities of lovely things happening, at the same time as remembering to practice gratitude.. It worked today.. I got my car to its 9.30 am service early and managed to walk Jasper before. The past days of torrential rain cleared for a window and I managed on the 10 minute walk to the nearly shopping center to find a pocket of beautiful eucalyptus trees in a patch of deep leaves that were all squidgy and most with rain. I picked one of the leaves and broke it to reveal its fragrance, really really perfect as a breathing remedy. which I relished in on the walk…
Got to the center had a little bite to eat followed by a coffee and managed to read my book and write my blog and it did not take long after that for them to tell me my car would be ready.. the rain held off, I got splattered by a few drops waiting for a taxi as I had a bit to carry back there but there were a lot of other elderly people who looked more in need so I walked back to get the car.
Got home made a nice lunch and I’ve managed to do housework and give Jasper another late walk, so all in all its been a perfect day.. oh and on the way home a young girl passing by me looked at me and said “you look really pretty” WOW…. that so made my afternoon.. It just goes to show saying these affirmations and looking on and for the good as well as being grateful for the good things really works. God bless you Louise Hay, you really help me to look for the good and appreciate all of the blessings God surrounds me with. This also reminded me how important what we say to ourselves and others really is… I am going to start practicing passing those loving compliments forward.
It sounds like a lovely morning. 💗
