Merry Christmas to all my much loved and deeply valued friends here. In the Southern hemisphere night is drawing in..perhaps on your side of the world the new day is only dawning, but today I wish you peace. I wish you love. I wish you a sense of connection. I wish you joy and even sadness if that is necessary due to missing loved ones or maybe even feeling alone. May you find the courage to embrace that all in love.
For me, I am grateful. To my cousin who invited me to lunch knowing other family didn’t include me. To my sister who called and my second cousin who I just spent 1 and a quarter hours talking to about life, love, wounds, family, emotional recovery and finally gentleness. Today has been a day full of gifts. Not presents but soul gifts. My heart feels embraced, loved peaceful.
Despite all that is facing us I feel hopeful tonight. And to everyone who shares and opens their hearts here to me and others. Thanks again. May you always be nourished.
