Between worlds

In the space between worlds

I pray you are praying for me

And hearing the prayers too

Of the one who cares for my heart so tenderly

There is a faith you have to hold

In the unseen

When every other human force

Seems to betray or abandon you

And for those who are chosen

There is a sense of a far deeper mystery

That reaches so very far beyond

What a purely human earthly vision

Can see

In this place you and I have loved each other

For over a thousand lifetimes

In this space our souls are always united

Even as worldly forces tear us apart

There is so much I wish I could say to you

But there is no one to explain

The unexplainable to

Except the hovering spirits

Watching and hoping

That finally our prayers may be answered

That you will be released

And will be coming home
