I just spoke to my sister and as a result took an earlier post down.. Its not easy for her coming out of hospital and she is still struggling, its not fair to say she needs to step up when she still gets invalidated. Her son told her she isn’t to drive, I know he may be scared for her maybe it is too much for her to drive, I am not sure, but I just think she needs more encouragement.. I offered to replace the plant that died due to me not watering it for the last few weeks after being ill. I also offered to drive her where-ever she needs to go. It’s unkind and uncaring to see this as an imposition, after all she is my sister and she needs care and genuine love and its up to me to do instead of seeing it as a chore…..because when I truly love it is no burden to give and when I give my life is more full of love and gratitude.
I see that at times I pushed my sister away, maybe it was due to old resentment.. Whatever it was due to I want to love now.. I just read a comment that if the second coming of Christ happens on the planet it won’t be the actual appearance of Christ but an awakening in our hearts, minds and souls to Christ consciousness. This comes when we show love, when we let bygones be bygones, when we face and address our wounds and vow not to carry them on, finding forgiveness and self forgiveness. It also comes when we commit to become a channel of peace and compassion in an, at times, uncaring shut down and dismissive world. Dismissing someone’s reality or vulnerabilities can happen subtly, and its disempowering.. Those who feel vulnerable due to undergoing so much trauma need to be filled with courage and love by those who wont diminish them even further..
Whatever the question, love is the only answer.. all the other logical analyses just fall by the wayside when we really look upon our fellow human beings with a heart of love, empathy and compassion.
“Whatever the question, love is the only answer”. I love that! 🌸

Love is like a Christmas tree, the rest is the ornaments and lights such as kindness, forgiveness, and generosity and so forth.
