Give me the silence
Let me rest here with what I know
There is a path that leads me home
To my own heart
A place set apart
From the turmoil of your world
Noisy ego screaming loud
With a hunger to be fed
I am not your source
No one is
What is the point of losing ourselves
In all this white noise and relentless dread
There is no peace to be found
Anywhere else in this world of men
As powerful as the fulfilling silence
Of one’s deepest soul
That fundamental bedrock
Of our very being
Our most essential home
Beautiful Deb 😊💖
