Let me breathe
Set me free
From all of this constriction
Life is a wild place
And human wills do not thrive
From being braced
All sense of living and forward movement blocked
By the powers that be enforcing
The narrowly defined perimeters
Of this confined space
Upon our soul
Heaven knows that splendor rose
After the storm
Appearing in the prism hued multi-color spectrum
Of a shimmering rainbow
And those who try to dull our sparkle
Often found their own fires
Dampened by the rain
That ‘stronger’ wills chose to splatter
All over the glowing embers
Of a soul coming alive
Under the spontaneous combustion
And regenerative warmth
Of solar fire
Excellent Mate
Beautiful transition of thought
Sometimes the Fire once was so vibrant and intense that brought you to life becomes a numbing void where there is no sense of correlation within your internal inferno.
I know what that numbing sensation can relate first hand you struggle to find that fire within rather than living your co-existing
Wanting to have a meaning longing to connect with others around wanting to be let in but that place of vulnerability very few you let even to come knocking at the door.
Sometimes that fire that within if can reignite is never what it was it either becomes something more violent or flutters into smouldering ambers awaiting for the life force of the fire to dissipate.
I know as you are like me and having magnetic gravitation to music here is a beautiful rendition to iconic band and voice there will never be another Chester Bennington
