arise

mind you touch my spirit at times

at others

shy away from this

human body

feeling yourself to be trapped

beneath heavy weight of flesh

but here deep inside too

the soul of you is longing

to take the body by the hand

and lead it to the open lands

spirit sometimes feels

all of this feeling

is too heavy to withstand

and so it tries to fly

away to that

heaven

but sometimes hell is only created

through rejection

so seek not to understand

what is only a reflection

but engage

and allow

the yearning life in you

freedom

to arise

leaving the heavy weight

of fear and loathing

behind
