through my eyes

if you could see yourself through my eyes

you would understand

the many tears you cried

in a perfect world

should not belong to you

when you understand your self

through my heart

you will no longer

tear yourself apart

over those things

you struggled with

if you could feel the deepest truth

just as I do

you would be a part of the group

of so many who knew

this life is so often

complex

we live

we learn

we stumble

we rise

we cut our truth into little chunks

and swallow lies

and yet somehow we are

okay even as we are not

does it make sense

at all

to me it does

as lately when I see you through my eyes

every thing looks just perfect

within it’s imperfection

Ursula Goodenough How to describe oneself? People are a mystery and there is so much more to us than just our particular experiences or occupations. I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.

      1. Hanging in there. Finding myself suddenly stranded in a search for a new therapist. It’s been a rough month, but I’m holding onto hope.

That is so tough… It took me many attempts to find mine and I remember how hard it was when the others fell apart or I was left without the right containment and holding (as i struggle a lot with that.) I feel and pray that the right one is out there for you and you find that soon.. sending a hug.. ❤
