Sometimes I cry and shake my head

Over what I created

I gave each of you free will

And a place to live

That was full of abundance

I gave you life and entrusted this

Special gift

So humans why do you continue

To make such a mess of things

I am always here

Waiting for you to seek direction

To ask for less

And give more

And make the best of what you have

I am always here

Asking you to face the lesson

So why do you turn your face away

And continue to live in shame

Or blame someone else

Or see or seek to locate the pain outside yourself

Its breaks my heart to watch this all

When I know how deep my love is

For humanity

But sometimes my heart just breaks

Into a million pieces

Watching what humans do
