You are me

If I hurt you

I am hurting inside me

I have a hidden pain or hurt

Buried so deep inside of me

I cannot bear to feel

And so I find the pain in you

And I punish you for it

But I am not seeing you

Only some projection

So I am not seeing

That you am I

And I am you

We are in this together

In all the weathers

I cannot just make it rain on you

And run from the rain falling

Inside my own soul

You see we are a part of each other

But only pain and ignorance

Splits us off

From allowing this largess

When you ache

How can I not ache

When you cry

How can I not feel your sadness

Unless a very long time ago

I allowed life or someone’s wounded heart

To turn my own

To stone?

I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.

  2. I totally related with these poetic lines Deb…. through all the years of pain we shared…. there no was no where to run from the falling rain…..

      1. How did dinner go… I just had one of those frozen meals… it was Ok…. I’ve been home all day… did my exercises, then had an afternoon shower, then a late walk just before dinner…. 💙🌏

      2. Sue said she enjoyed it.. I made my Rogan Josh lamb curry with roasted pumpkin and veg Ivor…. the lit the fire so it was a good meal for an icy winter night.. hope today is bright for you Ivor.. we had a few days with no sun which makes the getting out with Jasper harder…. I think the exercises are great for keeping the body warm.. lots of love dear Ivor ❤

      3. Just off to my exercise group now Deb,,.. it’s still a chilly 7’C… brrr… but it’s supposed to warm up to 15’C….. I’ll be out for most of the day… have nice day Deb…xx

      6. Hey Ivor I just got in took myself out for a walk by the lake.. Jasper wanted to stay home.. did my groceries and other bits and bobs and plan to relax this afternoon… enjoy your treat….xoxo

      7. I’ve had my treat, sitting in West Park having my lunch.. I made-up a some sandwiches this morning, a few biscuits and a banana… It’s a lovely day… although it’s starting to get a bit breezy… I’ll send you some pic’s when I get home… 💙🌏

  3. We sometimes, unknowingly, impose the hurt we’d weathered onto someone else, and we ended up, hurting them, like we were, hurt ourselves, and the vicious cycle just, keeps on, rolling, rolling, rolling, nonstop!
