Lies an ocean breathing

As the dark surrounds my heart

Eclipsing the feeling of you

Drawing close to me

Hostility

Is a poor defence

When the sense of love grows colder

With mistrust

There are oceans breathing

And the waves are huge

As I struggle to keep my head

Above water

The one comfort I have now is

My sister is safe

From the flood

She found her dry land

As I cried a hundred tears for us

So if love finds her finally

I truly am so happy

That this might

Be a brand new start

To save myself from this ghost of loss

Masquerading as mistrust

Why is self sabotage
