well of love

There is a well of love that lives inside of us

But sometimes it seems to me

The way to the spring is blocked

We forget that the ocean we need

Is all the time lying beneath

And is breathing us

Barricades to the knowing

Get set in place

In a society teaches us what is external

Matters more

Than a healing embrace

An acceptance and realisation

That our entire being

And all our needs have a valid place

So listen inwardly for the spring that wants to know

Its own source

Look for the places where

Tenderness will allow you to flow

Release the defences that prevent your heart

From feeling peace

Sense the healing release

Of allowing

And know that deep inside your heart

There exists

An open source of love

That always holds

Your precious spirit safe

Within the warmth

Of its divine embrace
