Hold my hand

Hold my hand

I feel the need to reach for you

You always seem to understand

The depths in me that others can’t

And when we share our journey

I feel the truth

That here is

Breaking free from its cage of suffering

Like bird upon the wing

Longing to sing to this reality

Love lives here

In the attention we bring

To our shared experience

Of joy, lessons and suffering

And when you reach to me within my world

Through the extension of empathy

That is when I feel

Most free

To just be

And express

Myself

Ursula Goodenough How to describe oneself? People are a mystery and there is so much more to us than just our particular experiences or occupations. I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.

      2. Are you Ivor? I am not buying into all of the drama.. maybe I am being naïve….or having my head in the sand but I just don’t like where its all going… its so heavy right now… I escape to nature all the time.. Its the only way I find the peace

      3. Yes I’m walking around… taking pictures of things that make me happy…. A lot of my poetry activities have been closed… so I find myself here on my computer for far too long……Haha, but listening to lots of new songs and artist….xx
