This track from the Carpenters always moves me, especially when I consider how Karen Carpenter ended up losing her life. It was on the album A Song For You which was the first ever album I owned, bought for me by my godmother, Aunty Jo (now passed.) I just took a walk by the lake with Jasper with tons of families and groups playing. I know I am not truly alone but sometimes this song hits me in the heart. We all need that someone who we can connect to and relate to. This song speaks to me of that.
You are never alone Deborah 😊

I do know that Stuart. This intense loneliness comes and goes. I just have to hang in until it passes, but thanks so much 🙂

The song describes how I feel at the moment and do feel alone though my world is opening up more with a better type of people. I know I do not belong where I live and every day I am shown this. Impossible to live like this. Living here has shown me I can take all the maddness as it is truely all around me. Take care go with the flow in your alone times, it is hard I know. You have Jasper to talk to and I have my cats and they are better company than many people, more intelligent.
