I believe that for every drop of rain that falls
A flower grows
And I believe that somewhere in the darkest night
A candle glows
I believe for everyone that goes astray
Someone will come to show the way
Yes I believe
Oh I believe
I believe above the storm
The smallest prayer
Will still be heard
And I believe that someone in the great somewhere
Hears every word
Every time I hear a newborn baby cry
Or touch a leaf
Or see the sky
Then I know
Oh, I know why
I believe
(These are song lyrics not my own writing. I do not know the name of the song or the writer but they touched me so I am sharing them here.)
They are such great words. Would love to find out the song.

I heard a lovely version by a woman on a TV Drama. I’m sure it must have lots of versions but maybe those are the originals?
