Sadness speaks

If the soul speaks in any language

Then it speaks its deepest message in sadness

And when we say to sadness

Go away

You are not welcome here

What is it that we are saying No to?

What is it we are shutting the door upon

Consigning to the basement

Of ourselves?

Why is it that

Those who are hurt

Are silenced?

Why is it that those whose souls suffered

Under the forces of repression

Are told that they are bad

For protesting

For wanting and needing

Recognition

Understanding

Comfort

And love?

You see the soul in us will not be permanently silenced

And even as we labour to breathe

Under the weight of this

All we had to deny

In order to find a place to belong

What a curse we bring upon ourselves

Until we recognise

The reality of what was done

And the truth of how

In not listening to our sadness

We lost our way

Back to a last chance

At happiness

Revealed through the soul

Through sadness.

I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.

    For so many years I question what I did to be baptized and Christen in the gates of Brimstone’s deepest abyss…..

    Why did no one try to hear me or listen to my agonizing terror, of horrendous unspeakable suffering.

    If I come to realized cold reality is that those of us do fight to Live and draw breath into our lungs are never left unscathed without scars from reigning clutches death’s grip of Nemesis.

    For us that endured for so many fucking daunting years vowed not to remain silent and our stories left untold ….When I hear others say offer forgiveness hahaha YOUR FUCKING JOKING RIGHT!!!

    They don’t deserve nothing and get fuck all the fact you still breathe when they try to snuff your existence from the Earth is because of your will to Live.
