Come take my hand
Let us explore this inner wonderland
Here within yourself
Is the self that seeks you
Know that there is love
And always a place for you
Torn apart by neglect
We so often find no place to rest
No inner self is there at all
To bring us comfort
And so we become
Restless, yearning for love
And yet there is the one who loves us
There is the one who lives so deep inside
There is the one that can be kind
And has lived a hundred life times
Before
This is the one who will
Reach out its hand to you across time
This is the one who will
Open its arms to embrace you
Kiss your flesh
Lay you down in tenderness
Make you know that in the eyes of life
You are
Infinitely precious
Simply because you exist
And even if no one seems to know
Or value your gifts
There is a you that came to earth
To live as true as you can
To your Self
Be that one
And know there is always deep within
The one to hold your hand
To embrace you when you are sad
And encourage you to explore
The infinite wonderland
That stretches before you
In this life
Emerging From The Dark Night
