Ways to be happy

Acknowledge your truth.

Be aware of your heart.

Do what brings you joy.

Let yourself be loved.

Give thanks for what is good but do not deny what is painful or hurtful.

Celebrate the simple gifts.

Acknowledge and take good care of your feelings.

Let go of what hurts and if that is too hard, pray for help to do it.

Realise you are loved.

Recognise that you have value, despite you failures, mistakes and wounds.

Be your own best friend.

Accept your vulnerabilities while owning your gifts.

Reach out in love when your cup is full to give the gift back.

Ursula Goodenough How to describe oneself? People are a mystery and there is so much more to us than just our particular experiences or occupations. I could write down a list of attributes and they still might not paint a complete picture pf Deborah Louise and in any case it would not be the full truth of me. I would say that my purpose here on Wordpress is to express some of my random experiences, thoughts and feelings, to share about my particular journey and explore some subjects dear to my heart, such as emotional recovery, healing and astrology while posting up some of the prose/poems which are an outgrowth of my labours with life, love and relationships. If anything I write touches you I would be so pleased to hear for the purpose of reaching out and expressung ourselves is hopefully to connect with each other and find where our souls meet.

  1. Hi dear Deb, here’s a little list for you to do every day to help stay positive (from – Putting My Feet in the Dirt)
    1.) Get rid of one thing every day.
    2.) Do one productive thing every day.
    3.) Spread kindness at least one way every day.
    4.) Do one thing you enjoy every day.
    5.) Do one healthy thing every day.
