I ride the lion
To the open horizon
Letting the power of water carry me
Cresting on the wave
Caught up in a fire
The power of change
Responding to the ache
Of all my heart and body burns for
Deep inside the marrow of my soul
I know
We were not meant to live
Forever in chains
Frozen by the stories others told
To calcify our bones
No we were born
To listen deeply
For the note
That sounds our individual destiny
And to never stop seeking
The rise of that energy
That will carry us
To the place
Where our hearts can rise free
Of the encumbrance of burdens
That cursed us from the ages past
Riding the lion
To the horizon
Of spiritual change
Wild and free
Wow. This from you makes me so happy. It’s full of hope and beautiful energy and openness to the everything we seek.
I ride the lion…amazing.
We are all meant to be free and the sooner we realise our strictest gaoler is our self, the sooner we will be set free
Always a hug and kiss for you xxx

Beautiful!! What a lovely way to describe our journey to heaven. I canβt wait. We should make the best of our time here but I do look forward to that trip and eternity with Our Father and Christ. Thank you for your lovely poem. Love π Joni

I hope for heaven on earth too as Jesus did say “the kingdom of heaven is within you and all around you” it all depends on our state of mind really. βΊ

So true but I canβt wait to chat up the disciples especially Paul and imagine climbing into Jesusβs arms and radiating in the Glory of God the Father. Thank you. Love π Joni
