Gone from me

The wind will carry your spirit home

To a place where you can breath

And be finally free

Of the selfishness that so often hurt you

There in the ether you will be

With God

Who stood so very close to you in life

There you will be able to feel

Your heart beating its note

In connection with the pulse of life

For me it is sad

But I will remember

How lucky I was to know you

I will remember that your spirit

Is now free

And in my grief

I will let go

And remember not to hold you here

But let the process unfold

And reveal what it

Needs most of me
