Alone in the alone

You felt your heart sinking like a stone

Finding itself submerged

Within the depths of soul void

The place you have feared

For so many years

Drowning deep inside

But don’t you know

That surrender to the tears

Where as before holding on so fast

In fear

Only left you inconsolable and barren

Running yourself ragged for years

Searching for someone

To save you from yourself

Or drew you to others

Who sought their salvation in you

But now as you finally find the strength to say

Enough

I have to give up

You know that the void must be faced

Because the only life you can ever truly save
