You are both darkness and light
Calm peaceful daytime
Or tumultuous nights
In which our souls they twist and turn
Trying to find the way home
To the great unity
We lost so long ago
And if you are a living breathing thing
Within which every opposite is contained
How can it be that we
Stoop to divide and conquer
That which was never meant to be
Separated from unity
And love
But we do
And is this not our most
Supreme folly
We are both incarnated spirit
And animal body
And the tussle and conflict
Between the two
Can either destroy us entirely
Or remake us
Anew
Beautiful!
