Mother
You were the loving ground that should have held
The fragile heart
That was still too young
To fully form without you
When you left
A void as deep as the ocean opened up
And we the ancestors still carry deep within our cells
The memories of that loss
That emptiness
That occurred more than a hundred years ago
And so today
As she goes
To the hospital to stay
Memories of our Mum now gone
Will be lingering too in the shadows
Haunting this present moment
And I will sit here
As surrounded as I can be
By the light matter and memories
Realisations dawning
Emerging along the fragile line
Of antiquity
In the silence you will hear my tears
Mother
In the tenderness of your embrace
That opens oh so magically within this space
My own heart will be held
As the Cancer Moon reveals
Its crablike face
Well I am a canerican moody and have emotional zig-zags

Aww you just seem like a Cancerian Ivor. I love Cancerian men. You all have such a beautiful feminine side. In Esoteric Astrology Cancer is ruled by Neptune as well as the Moon and Neptune rules poetry. β€ β€
