In the quiet
I can hear my own heart beat
As I let my body just relax
Allowing everything I struggled with
Just to float away
Don’t ask me a million questions
About how I am
And stop getting annoyed when I tell you
How tired I am
After the hellish strain your desires have placed on me
I am sick to death of words that say nothing
And all I truly long for
Is just to be able to
Lie alone here for a while
Listening to the muted sounds of spring
As the afternoon ambles its way toward dusk
Bathed in mellow light
Oh the sheer delight
Of just being
Is beyond all words
And in the silence I am closer to completion
And understanding
Than I am
When the cacophony of life
Drowns out all that is most precious and sacred
To my weary soul
Oh wow..
I just posted about silence on my blog in hindi.
So this is so related❤

OH I wish I could read it. ❤ There is such power in silence. I just read a quote by Lao Tzu which said silence is true strength.
