Life : an amazing journey

Life you are an amazing journey

And the life that I love

Is the one that I desire to live

As fully grounded in myself as I can be

For there was a time where I felt as though I was crumbling

Sensing there was a world and a reality

Far beneath and beyond this human dimension

Where I saw such suffering and pain

And where those around me

Seemed on some level to be asleep

Walking somnambulent in the collective dream

Of structures woven by a system

Geared not to freedom

But only to imprison

Locking bodies tight and rigid

In restrictive positions

Squeezing the life and joy and passion

Out of the soul

Cutting the spirit to ribbons

But I also know

That the deepest soul in us

Can never be fully vanquished

And even those souls

Who chose to depart

Have a destiny

That they could not live

Within this limitation

Or perhaps they feared too much

The terror of the death process

Which was really also rebirth

And who of us can say

That those who chose to go

Where not in some strange way

Chosen to be the architects of transformations within us

Who knows if their deaths

Were not purely to sow

The seeds of our own personal awakening

Leading us to even greater realisations

Only this I know

On this journey I am learning to judge less

And to discover more

To understand that things actually are following a divine plan

And I can chose to embrace the ride

Taking the risk to be and express

The truth of what I always felt inside

Never judging myself unworthy for another day

Of this journey of awakening

Whose deepest purpose

Is to lead me and you

And all of us
