Being : Presence : Love

Just the touch of my hand

On your warm tummy

Soothes my troubled mind

It reminds me of all

That is most beautiful soft and kind

In this world

Where so many

Just seem to be sleep walking

Going through the motions of life

Like automatons

You my beautiful Jasper

Live fully in the present moment

Not striving to be or do anything but yourself

Radiating your calm and healing presence

Into this world

And into my hands for healing

As I touch you

I feel everything in my body let go and expand

I realise more deeply how I drive myself

Mad with thoughts

And pain from yesterday

All things gone by that cannot be changed

And how far I live at times

From this peaceful present moment

Where heaven can be found in simple things

And so today

I had to write these words

To remind me and the world

Of the love that can be found

And the calming too

When I reach for which is

Soft gentle peaceful calm

And full of something

That feels so very full of

Being

Presence
