Underneath this all

Cant you feel there is a great ocean flowing:

And can’t you feel how we are all

Just parts of the whole?

I know its hard In a world so divided

Where lost truths get buried

In a time that keeps its focus up

Too terrified to explore hidden depths within darker shadows

That may lead to undoing of best laid plans

And yet were we not born for this unravelling?

 

If I could extend your vision for just a moment

To understand the mystery of the DNA helix

Which contains us all

As ribbons of life

Pulled both towards and away from each other

I would remind you that both a complexity and a simplicity

Are contained within a profound mystery

Of our shared and forgotten history

And there are so many important questions

We forget to ask

And then lose the way to

Truths that get buried or lay unspoken

As we cry by a great river

Never taking time to recognise

Our destiny

As souls so deeply connected

Woven together in this miraculous tapesty
