Fear,
You dog our waking moments
Like a rabid animal
That does not want to let go
Of the bone that contained the poison
That caused its disease
What is it in us
That clings to pain and hurt
And even will forget or deny
The positive things
That present themselves in our lives
Selective attention can make us see what it is that wounds
And keeps our gaze fixed there
Instead of teaching us to change our focus
Towards that which
Brings us life and joy and happiness
Again
Trauma fixes us to the sticking place
Where we flagellate in our crucifixion
Just like Jesus
Surely we need new archetypes to lead us
And it is really our transformation
And our resurrection we should focus upon
As we fully enter the fire
And submit
Seeking ways to burn through and clear
Rising again
From the ashes of our past
And most over powering
Defeats
beautiful! so so powerful! Can really relate!
