If I were to choose one safe path to last me into forever, to lead me safely through the world, it would be the path of love. To love another, I first create that feeling within me (love doesn’t come from nowhere). When I direct it outward, I generate it within me. I am at once the recipient and the sender, the giver and the receiver. Loving another allows me to love myself. It puts me in the space of path of love, envelops me within the experience of love. Human love is the expression of soul on earth. It is the force that moves mountains, that turns plain and simple living into something noble and majestic. Love can make a pauper feel like a prince, lack of love can make a prince feel like a pauper. It is love that makes the difference between life feeling precious and valuable or worthless. I will get further in life by loving what I have than by looking forever elsewhere for meaning.
I will love what is near to me.

Emerging From The Dark Night 
Beautifully expressed. It is so heart warming and reassuring to find another person that sees the true value of the emotion and feeling of love. So many people want nothing more on this earth than to love and be loved in return. So many people want big expensive material possessions to prove to others how valuable and worthy there are and those are the hardest thing to come by, but love, a simple emotion formed within us, completely free, and can be shown and given to so many so easily is what people run from or write it off because they are too scared to allow themselves to love themselves and others. Some of us as for nothing at all but to be loved, but to others we might as well be asking for the moon, it is just unfathomable.
