Awake in this becoming

Let me be awake and alive in this becoming

Let me remember that life is really all about flow

Opening to experience and then letting go

Perhaps it takes some souls like mine

Heaps of pain, experience and time

To learn the lesson of how

Somethings just pass

And when the writing is on the wall

To release the grasp

We use to bind those things that never

Were  truely ours

And for our growth must to be surrendered

Let us remember that life requires

For us to walk through many fires

In order to learn lessons that irrevocably change

The old stranglehood and defences

With which we meet our pain

And let us remember how this shedding

Is really the price we pay in remembering

All forms change and die in time

But our spirits remain

Eternally alive

Just waiting to shed the false and unreal

As we become more open to feel

What is truely most essential

For our becoming
