Nature abounds in mystery and majesty

Reminds us of all that issues

From a power we could never hope to understand

That in trying to lay claim to

Slips through our hands

Resisting the control of contracted man

Asking always

‘Won’t you open your heart to me?’

But for those who only choose to close

And in fear only can resist

Nature well she challenges that closed fist

And when we hold on and refuse to let go

Nature will crack the seed pod open wide

So we discover what is hidden deep inside

Surrender really is the only way

We can stay

In touch with the miraculous

And not betray

The infinite mystery and majesty of nature
