Diving down to wilderness spaces
I am the mermaid leaving silvery traces
Of light illuminating deep dark places
Which once before so haunted me
Now that I can trust this diving
And am not so intent on arriving
My soul trusts this endeavour has a purpose
And when the time is right I will resurface
With sacred treasure claimed
Born of pain
So to those I scare
Who don’t trust the deep
I ask of you
Your silence to keep
As I honour my sacred process
For those too terrified to lose sight of land
Will never ever understand
The magic that transforms our soul
Through deep sea diving
In this watery realm of wisdom
Loss and imagining

Beautiful. I love the picture too. We have to go down there and bring the light with us. A watery gem here. 💙
