In this darkness so deep
I will dig down and down
Until I find the light obscured and longed for
When the going gets tough
And I feel most alone
I will consciously try to remember
There is a place called home
At times it may seem like a place so very far from earth
At other times it may be secretly and suddenly revealed
As afternoon light shines in
Illuminating patterns on the Persian carpet
At times the thunder clouds roll in
And thoughts of emptiness and doom
Haunt the weary soul
And yet
Even though we may not then see the sun
And its absence hurts
I do believe
That somewhere deep within
Lies a light
That keeps burning and yearning
A light which can never be
Fully extinguished
No matter what comes
another beautiful poem. Thank you. Your writing makes me feel less alone. xo

If it does that then I really have a purpose… I am so happy it does xoxox
