Bright star

Now that you have dissolved into nothingness

Your essence absorbed by the darkened firmament

Perhaps you have become

A Bright Star

Shining down

Watching over me

With hidden love

Guiding my heart home

Perhaps now

I am now the holder

And container

Of your untold history

Playing out hidden wishes and dreams

Which you kept silent

But ached to free

And by that guiding light

I see before me suddenly

An open doorway

Illuminated

Maybe now that you have gone

That star will reveal for me

Deeper parts of the self

That never got to live

Under your watchful gaze

As I find myself

Freed for a greater dreaming

The other night

In a dream

I struggled to hold closed a door

Behind which massive torrents raged

A deluge come

To sweep clear from these Augean stables

All the shit of ages

Maybe I should let go now

And allow the flood to wash everything clean

A body can only carry and suppress so many tears

And until we free them

How can I

Find the flow

That carries me forward

And learn how

To live again?
