I wish you knew

That everything is okay

That overwhelm often comes

From the misperception that nothing is in the right place

When really there is divine order

Within the chaos

Restless mind

You stir up whirlwinds

And violent storms

When really they are not needed

There will be the storm that comes in time

When nature calls for a cleansing

You can face that storm

And find the calm centre within

But don’t send up tempests

To destroy the peaceful walls

Of the beautiful life you are building

Filled with ideas of lack, loss and fear

Know that what comes to you will come

And what needs to pass will go

Calmly abide here

No longer torn this way and that

By the storms you create
