Let go though it hurts

Let your clenched fist open

And words die silently on your lips

Remember the power

Of the unspoken word

The knowing you carry

Can be yours alone to know

There is deep contentment in that

The need to prove it to someone else

Shows the true proof hasn’t yet dawned within
