This recognition of love
Fills the cup of my heart to over flowing
When I recognise the you that is beautiful and real
Deep within
Shining with a light from your eyes
I am also recognising my true self
The truth is our birthright is love
And toxic pain we absorb
Only tends to keep us in prison
This is why we must forgive
We do it for ourselves
To set our hearts and beings
Body soul and mind free
Today I see most clearly
The hurt in you that tended to imprison me
And keep me believing in ghosts
Whose pain or agony in reality only had power
For not being recognized and transformed
Speak your truth
Do it with love and honesty
And as you pour out your inner wisdom
From that cup of love overflowing
Know that you are finally and fully
And wildy and freely
Living the destiny for which you were born
