The destroyer comes telling you lies

Trying its level best

To cut you down to a size

Too small

And within this confinement

Breath is laboured

If even possible at all

Deep within its torment

Your empty heart

Finds only sadness and emptiness

The death of all you ever

Hoped

Wished

Dreamed

Or longed for

Let it scream

But be steadfast in you soul

And know this

The whole of you truly are

Will never be recognized by the destroyer

Since this energy knows nothing about

Love

And only love will help you to see

And understand

The festering wound

That lives deep inside the heart

Of the destroyer
