A narrow heart and mind
Keeps us locked in chains
Despair and depression
Falling down like black rain
Upon our aching hearts
Some ignore the pain
Hoping it will go away
Begin to turn away and show disdain
Towards all that once was
Both soft and tender inside of them
Slowly reverting
Over time
To the narrowing confines
Of both judgement and prejudice
But a heart that will turn to face it all
Allowing itself to open
To the sharp edged sword
Of disappointment
Betrayal or loss
May begin to bleed
As real feelings enable the
Descent into the wounds
Undergone
In service of healing
Opening
And transformation
And so it may be that
Over time
Wisdom is birthed
From the center of a fire
That with persistance
Surrender
Allowing and patience
Transfoms
The sharpened piercing arrows
Into blessings
This is so beautiful and very powerful at the same time, Deborah. I could really relate to your words. Xx 🌷💖🌼

Thank you sweetie. We get put into a pressure cooker in many ways here on planet earth. And diamonds are made under pressure.
