You are my ocean and moonbeam
my sunrise and sunset
my rising and falling
my breath and also my breathlesness
the depths of how I feel for you
can not easily be fathomed
and at times
when the weight of water
holds me down
I fear that I am dying
but only again to rise
with a greater clarity
only to finally free myself
from the entrapment
within a confusing lie
I sadly told myself
in response to
a traumatic and terrifying past
Cleverly constructed Deb , and it added visual strength to your words ..
