As a child when no one can hear your true feelings, they actually leave you to drown inside them. That is what I am beginning to understand through therapy. Then navigating the world becomes terribly difficult. You try hard but often in the wrong directions, and laking real skills to support your true self. It is the most painful loss, one that is not fully conscious until you awaken to it.
At a certain point depression claims you as a messenger of all you lost the way to, but all is not lost if you can learn to unravel the threads of feeling all tangled up inside of you. If you can find the place to mirror you and if you can then love all there is even the tangled up jangled up parts, for it is only love that will unravel those knots
There is hope but it takes insight, healthy mirroring and finding true acceptance, to truly emerge out of that painful state.. This is what is called awakening.

Yes, it is a constant process. As one part untangles another more difficult one to untangle seems to arise. But staying on love’s path is the way to healing each day.
