Author Matt Haig knows the landsacpe and experience of depression and mental health issues well.. His book Reasons To Stay Alive was an honest exploration of his own breakdown at 26 years of age, along with his battles with panic attacks, suicidal thoughts and OCD. The Comfort Book is his latest offering and it is a companion for those struggling with similar issues.. The talk below with Kathryn Budig discusses many things, it is also an interesting listen for other authors or writers who use this medium to deal with their own mental health issues and will be interested to hear his take on the writing process.
