The world appeared magical to me today
As I moved out with my fear
And walked the rainy streets
To be in the sea of life with humans
There was a restless tide that flowed
And there was no way to fully divine
The way it would go
So I just let the boat of my body coast
Gently sensing the wind
As I sat and absorbed the feeling of how precious it was
To be there with you all
And on the way home in the car
The most magical thing
Autumn colors so bright
Appeared as shimmers of incandescent light
Through prisms of rain drops
Blurring my windscreen
And as we stopped
A group of magpies sang
A glorious hymn to the rain
As I felt the pure unbridled bliss
Of joy arising
With so much love
And gratitude for my life
How blessed I am
To have survived
To have known great pain
To have lived through the deep dive
Into and through
This
The wild
Suprising
And restless tides
Of change
